Quality & Outcomes Framework
The Quality and Outcomes Framework was introduced by the Government in 2005. It determines how practices are paid for meeting clinical and organisational targets which are deemed to be good health policy.
You can see details of the QoF targets and see how we have done compared with other practices locally and nationally using the links below.
It is important to remember that the QoF points only give part of the picture. They show only some aspects of what has been achieved in a limited number of clinical areas which apply to only a minority of people. They do not show how practices have achieved the points, or give any information about performance in the many areas not covered by QoF.
Official NHS Information
The NHS provides information at Regional, Primary Care Trust and Practice Level. The data for 2004/5 are quite difficult to sort and interpret; later data are simpler to understand.
- NHS Information Centre QoF Homepage
- This is the official NHS website.
- 2005/6 Data
- Click the "Search for practice results" tab and search for "Swaffham" or "Campingland" to see our figures. The information is too broad-brush to be of much use
- Later Data
- Click the "Search for practice results" tab and search for "Swaffham" or "Campingland" to see our figures. You can select the year you want to look at from 2006/7 to last year.
Unofficial QoF Information
The QOF Database is a private site dedicated to publishing the official NHS information in detail. It is much easier to use than the NHS site and provides comparison down the years and with PCT and national results.
